Dill, I have a 2009 Dethleffs motorhome on X2/50 Fiat 2.3, it drives better than my car and returns around 29 mpg @ 55-60 mph. Had no problems with reverse judder, did have an engine management warning light problem cured by an ECU upgrade.

May 31, 2022. #2. Hi. As far as I am aware, the Fiat/Iveco 2.3 engine does not share parts with the Ford Puma based 2.2 engine. I believe the original injector clamp bolts are long enough that they pass right though the head and screw into the top of the block. This is an arrangement which is prone to bolt snapping when removal is attempted.
