The 190/55/17 Road 5 GT actually measures about 203-205mm. Initially, Michelin indicated that 205mm is within acceptable variance for a 190 tire and wasn't going to refund or replace. This is the same tire size recommended for the SDGT. So, I measured and found that the 205 width would fit on my SDGT, so I wasn't concerned.
The KTM Super Duke GT will be launched in 2018 as a 2019 model. It gets 1,301 cc V-twin engine making 170 bhp and 144 Nm. There were a slew of changes seen on the Suer Duke GT test mule. KTM is all set to bring out an updated version of the 1290 Super Duke GT, sometime in 2018.
I believe the 2016 is a mix between the “T” model and 1190 and is a bit of a bastard child. It’s very similar to the 2020 S model minus the TFT dash and new headlight design. I think the 2016 also has a bigger tank and those little lights in the shrouds. Compared to a 2020 S, you’re losing tft dash and newer headlight.

Thu, 22 Jun 2017. IF I HAD TO pick a natural adversary for my long-term Ducati Monster 1200 S, it would be the KTM 1290 Super Duke R. The Monster and The Beast are cut from the same cloth; both are endowed with big power, big capacity V-twins, top-quality chassis components and plenty of gizmos – all the stuff you want for maximum car park cred.
